Our "Chalet Almhaus Strobl" is a true oasis for recharging and relaxing, while you can gaze over the Nockberge mountains, Lake Brennsee and the Gegendtal valley, all the way to the magnificent Karawanken mountains on the horizon. Stylishly and comfortably furnished, the spacious bedroom features two sofa beds, an infinity double bed, and an en-suite bathroom. The cozy living kitchen made of reclaimed wood is fully equipped. Throughout the apartment, you can enjoy water from your own mountain spring with the purest drinking water quality – in the kitchen, the bathroom, and even under the shower. All rooms in the chalet are equipped with underfloor heating. Bathed in sunshine, the expansive 24m2 terrace, fragrant with larch wood, invites you to chill and barbecue.

The hand-carved wooden fountain, with first-class drinking water quality from its own mountain spring, is a true fountain of youth and a refreshing cool-down on hot summer days. You will be enchanted by the many different moods that nature gifts you here every day.

A special place on earth for your extraordinary getaway at any time of year. Nestled in gentle, snow-covered alpine meadows on the Laufenberg above the village of Radenthein, this apartment is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and a romantic retreat for two. The "Almhaus Strobl" was built in 1996 in a secluded location at an altitude of 1300 m using natural materials such as brick and lots of wood. The cozy 40m2 chalet on the ground floor of "Almhaus Strobl" has been renovated and redesigned from 2023 to 2024 with great love, attention to detail, and a successful blend of rustic coziness and that certain touch of luxury. Unique is the fantastic panoramic view over the Gegendtal valley, Lake Brennsee, Radenthein, Feld am See, and the Karawanken mountains – with views of the Nockalm, Priedröf, Kaiserburg, Tobitscher Nock, and the legendary power mountain Mirnock. The Nockberge mountains are a true paradise for hiking, biking, skiing, ski touring, and snowshoeing. You can reach the most beautiful tours directly from the chalet. Thus, "Chalet Almhaus Strobl" is the optimal location for an active and at the same time relaxing holiday in the mountains. Rosennock, Langalmtal, Millstätter Höhe with Granattor, Lammersdorfer Hütte, Alexander Hütte, and Ochsenalm are just a few of the tour destinations in the immediate vicinity. It's 8 km to Radenthein in the valley.

Here you will find: supermarkets, a drugstore, post office (at Billa), pharmacy, doctors, gas station, outdoor pool, restaurant "Gartenrast", pizzeria "La Strada", and the cheese dairy "Kaslabm" with regional agricultural products, as well as the "Granatium" adventure museum. 10 km to Feld am See and 15 km to Afritz am See for ice skating and afterwards to the bakery and pastry shop Strobl, world-famous for their whole wheat and rye bread, cakes, pastries, and organic baked goods. 16 km to Bad Kleinkirchheim, the Ski World Cup resort with two thermal swimming pools, the Römerbad and Therme St.

Kathrein, as well as an attractive cross-country ski trail on the golf course.

Every year in winter, the mega event "Wenn die Musi spielt" takes place in BKK. An excursion to the Millstatt Advent Market in the Millstatt Abbey on the lake is very worthwhile - approx. 25 km. The nearest ski resorts are: Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turracher Höhe, Falkert, Goldeck/Spittal, Katschberg.
