For those looking to enjoy outdoor pursuits, Skiing, Snowboarding, Pony Trekking, Mountain Biking, White Water Rafting & other water sports are available at Aviemore and The Lecht offers snow sports and Mountain Biking opportunities, both are within a 45 minute drive.

The area is famous for wildlife with dolphins easy to spot in the Firth, take a picnic to North Kessock, enjoy the sunset on one of the benches and watch the jumps going on with the flood tide. Sea safaris are available if you want to get up close as are Land Rover Safaris in the Cairngorms Mountains and locally as well some with Alpacas.

Water sports are available along all of the Firth and well worth exploring is the popular sailing village at Findhorn with fabulous food in the local pubs and inns.
