It is located near the castles of Chinon, Rigny-Ussé (Sleeping Beauty's castle), Azay-Le-Rideau, Langeais (Indre et Loire), the castles of Montsoreau, Saumur and Montreuil Bellay (Maine and Loire) .
The complete property is made up of 2 houses and a poplar plantation, crossed by a river, on which a water mill was built, hence the name of the property.

The house was spacious, the furnishings elegant. Tje kitchen was provided with everything you would ever need.
The position was near Chinon, a very pretty town, so shops were easily available. everyone we met, including our hostess, were friendly and helpful.
We were very happy with our stay, and plan to return! A very agreable base for a hoñday in interesting wine country.

Une maison très jolie, très bien située pour des visites de châteaux et autres merveilles des environs. Une multitude de vaisselle et appareils menagers à disposition (jamais vu autant dans un "gite" , on se serzit cru chez nous.
Proprietzire très sympathique et à l'écoute, nous conserverons une tres belle image de notre sejour, merci beaucoup et à une prochaine
