Set off on beautiful hiking trails to discover the charming landscape of the region. Visit rushing waterfalls, cross deep gorges and enjoy the marvellous viewpoints you will reach. The Buitreras Gorge, for example, has high vertical walls and has been declared a natural monument of geological character. The history of El Colmenar is closely linked to the Algeciras Bobadilla railway line. Follow in the footsteps of this historically interesting region.

This property is an agrotourism site, so one should not visit it expecting modern conveniences. The tap water is not potable, there is no heating in the home (just a fireplace), and no oven in the kitchen (just a range). Reaching the site requires an off road vehicle at all times.
