Situated in an iconic Glasgow red sandstone building, West George Street apartment offers the discerning guest stylish accommodation, combining the very best of traditional room sizes with modern design.
Both Queen Street and GLA Central Stations are within a 5 minute walk (the Glasgow Airport shuttle bus also stops at Queen Street station). For those travelling by car, the Motorway network is readily accessible.
Access to other parts of the city is easy: Buchanan St Subway is 100m away. For guests planning on seeing more of Scotland, with the mainline stations so close, Loch Lomond, Stirling, Edinburgh or the Ayrshire coast are less than 1 hour's travel.
The building is accessed via a security controlled front door and the apartment is located on the second floor, with elevator or stair access.
The apartment is entered via a spacious hallway and all of our rooms are extremely well proportioned, with double-height ceilings and tall windows. The lounge has a large sofa and two easy-chairs as well as a dining table + four chairs. Widescreen digital (cable) TV, DVD and HiFi system are available for your entertainment. Free Internet and WiFi access is available for guests.
The bedrooms are impressive and very tastefully decorated with furniture of the highest quality. Bedroom 1 has two twin-beds, Bedroom 2 a king-size bed. Both rooms have floor-to-ceiling feature French doors and external balconies.
The bright, contemporary kitchen is fully integrated, with top of the range appliances and all the accessories you could need for dining at home.
The modern bathroom with walk-in shower completes the accommodation.
There is limited (chargeable) on-street parking outside the building as well as several public car-parks very near-by.
Check-in is from 14.00 on the day of arrival; check-out is by 11.00. (With prior agreement and depending upon availability we will always try to be flexible re these times). We will meet you at the property to give you keys, show you around and offer any advice we can.
