Located at the foot of the Mompilieri crater and towered by the immensity of the Etna, Villa nel Monte enjoys the tranquility of an ancient and unspoiled landscape, pampered by the luxury of its interior and its private pool.
The villa is born of the precious connection of art and knowledge of a father, skilful restorer, and his son, architect with innovative and eco-sustainable ideas.
The result is a sophisticated, modern and at the same time profoundly Sicilian villa, ideal for those who are looking for an authentic holiday without renouncing style and comfort. You can access Villa nel Monte from a spacious and bright living room with sofa bed, a modern kitchen and access to the terrace and the panoramic garden.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, all equipped with windows and air-conditioning.
Two bathrooms with shower are one in the living area and the other in the sleeping area.
A third bathroom and a fourth bedroom are located in the independent annexe, just below the terrace and closer to the pool. At 5 minutes walk from the house is Nicolosi, a vibrant village known as the 'Porta dell'Etna' that offers numerous restaurants, shops and sports facilities and is a must for those who wish to explore the largest volcano in Europe.
In other words, you will have everything you need and more without ever having to take the car.
Also, directly from the villa, a very nice path enriched by fruit trees leads to the top of Mount Mompilieri with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Catania. When you are ready to leave Nicolosi and the wonders of Etna, with 20 minutes drive you can reach Catania with its baroque buildings, the ancient fish market, the shopping streets and a fine sandy beach.
With just one hour drive, you will find Taormina, a world-class and elegant town, considered by many to be the pearl of the Mediterranean, and Siracusa, a fascinating and timeless town, with a romantic promenade and an ancient Greek theatre that cannot be missed. Whether you want to enjoy the Sicilian summer from a cooler and more privileged location or dream of skiing in winter on the snow of Mount Etna, Villa nel Monte is without a doubt one of the best holiday homes in this part of Sicily. Other details to note: In a room on the first floor, the single bed is a 160 cm children's bed. The price includes a set of linens and bath towels per person. On request, it is possible to arrange a transfer (for up to 7 people).
However, we recommend that all our guests rent a car for their stay in Sicily. The private pool measures 9 by 4 meters and it is completely fenced.

We had the best time in the Villa. It’s was a great size, kids loved to pool and play area. It was equipped with everything you could possibly of needed and loads of thoughtful little touches. We didn’t have a car but was super easy to get around everywhere on foot. We would love to come back sometime .
