Regency House is a small, independent, boutique hotel accommodating tourists, business people and academics. It is housed in two beautiful, five storey Victorian buildings side by side and located in Cambridge city centre. Built in 1850, the hotel has the charming characteristics of a typical Victorian townhouse, with high ceilings and sash windows. There are 16 stylish rooms and apartments split over five levels; most have a view of the historical 25-acre Parker’s Piece, and two have balconies.
Just a five-minute walk from the bus station and fewer than ten minutes from the train station.
In 2015, the hotel underwent a full refurbishment with a contemporary colour scheme designed by Farrow and Ball. The house has been transformed with new bathrooms, carpets, furniture and fittings. I felt quite at home at Regency guest house having stayed before. It was very comfortable and has a nice character and feel. I enjoyed the breakfast and the relaxed friendly atmosphere. The bed was comfortable with a very thoughtful bedside lamp! Great location to walk to Cambridge centre etc.

The ubication of the Regency House is almost perfect, as my children attended a summer camp at Barracudas Cambridge in St. Faith, which is a beautiful walk of 20 minutes from the Regency guests.
Not very far also from Historical Cambridge.

I spent 3 nights here alone in a single room. The room was small, and had in it a bed, a small chair, a TV, a sink, and a small table with a tray on it. On the tray were a glass and a mug, a teaspoon, a kettle, and some teabags/sugar/maybe coffee. There was a bathroom which was shared with 3 or 4 other rooms, and a south-facing window with a large windowsill.
