Looking for an atypical place, cozy, quiet and comfortable for your holidays in Alsace? Perched in the village of Orbey, in the heart of the Alsatian Vosges, not far from the Route des Crêtes, "La Grange d'Hannah" unusual and romantic lodging invites you to spend an exotic and rejuvenating stay.
A spacious and bright house, with a sweet and relaxing atmosphere. The cottage is classified 4 stars and offers quality services and great comfort.
Rosemary offers a warm welcome and is very caring, no detail escapes her ... The barn converted into a cottage, will surprise you with an authentic interior with its 18th century oak timber structure, dismantled in the Lower Rhine as it is dedicated to the destruction and reassembled by a carpenter passionate about Alsacian architectural heritage. The decoration mixes antique furniture, folk art objects and contemporary furniture bringing you comfort and relaxation. The interior walls, made with a method of building the past, the mud clay and straw used in Alsace to fill the half-timbered walls for centuries, create the basis of the decor with wood and tomette. The stairs and the imposing front door have been retrieved from a church! The bathroom is unique, with its nineteenth bath Napoleon III style and trough as sink ... Finally, the restoration took into account the criteria of eco-construction. "La Grange d'Hannah" is a real haven of peace for those who wish to spend a relaxing vacation in Alsace. Situated in one of the many localities of the village of Orbey, in the green canton, nestled in a preserved nature, on the long-distance hiking trail that leads to the white lake by an old Roman road, this isolated farmhouse consists of several buildings. In the old barn dating from the 18th century, the exceptional 95 m2 gîte will be your refuge. On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, induction cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, food processor, filter and Senseo coffee maker, as well as small equipment to prepare small dishes. A living room boudoir. A bathroom with a bathtub shower, washing machine and hairdryer. On the first floor, two distinct night spaces with 4 beds.
Both open onto a living room with flat-screen TV (Orange cable channels) and internet access. Possibility of an additional bed and a baby bed. Outside, a splendid wooden terrace with garden furniture and deckchairs.

Barbecue available. For your comfort, the beds are made on your arrival and the bathroom linen is provided. The guest room of 45 m2 is located in the large main farmhouse facing south. This suite is composed of a room with the charm of yesteryear and its splendid adjoining bathroom, double basins, shower and round bathtub allowing unforgettable moments of relaxation. You have a living room/library space with a large corner sofa and a piano for moments of music, reading, games or rest. At the back of the building, you can enjoy the terrace with deckchairs and garden furniture on which you take breakfast/brunch.

Le gîte comme la chambre d'hôte que nous connaissions déjà sont superbes. Rosemary est une hôtesse très sympathique, et un conseil, demandez lui son fameux petit déjeuner, vous ne serez pas déçus ! charme et dépaysement assurés ! on reviendra.

Nous avons aimé le calme de l endroit et la proximité des villes touristiques. Balades et le gîte magnifiquement agencé, décoré et très confortable pour se ressourcer.. accueillis par les chats un vrai bonheur..

Grange rénovée avec goût, située en lisière de forêt et avec tout le confort nécessaire. Philippe et Rosemary sont très accueillants et très sympathiques. Notre famille composée de deux enfants et d'un chien s'est régalée! Merci pour tout.
