Laura is a fantastic 4-seat residence in the Podere La Cava.
Spread over two floors, it includes a large tavern with a fireplace, a cozy living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms with private bathrooms and another bathroom.
Recently completely renovated, it is furnished with authentic period furniture.
On request it can be combined with the Beatrice residence to create a single accommodation suitable for 10 people. Podere La Cava is a typical Tuscan farmhouse located in the countryside between Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme whose name derives from a nearby gravel pit.
Its construction probably dates back to the XVIII century, certainly it is already visible in a map of 1826 and since the end of the 1800 it belongs to the Ricci family that has always used it for the summer holidays.
Surrounded by woods and olive groves, it enjoys a splendid view of the Val di Chiana which extends to Lake Trasimeno.
Due to its location, the Podere La Cava is ideal for those who want the peace and tranquility of the countryside or take pleasant walks. The farmhouse has been recently restored respecting the Tuscan tradition, preserving the original structure and furnishings and using local materials and artisans. The structure is very close to important spas and cities of art.
The thermal baths of Montepulciano and Chianciano are very close, those of Bagni Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo and San Casciano are just a few kilometers away, as are the historic centers of Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, the entire Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana.
All places of interest in southern Tuscany, Umbria and northern Lazio are within easy reach, and daily car trips to Rome and Florence are possible.

Beautiful location and property. Stairs to second floor treacherous and NOT for anyone slightly mobility challenged. Water was very cool even after host had boiler technician service. Hard to believe since the property has water radiator heat the water was that cool. No toaster which meant we used t...

Nice clean and comfortable apartment in the country with a lot of places close by. Great location for traveling to a variety of historic towns. The apartment has most everything you could need but after staying in Florence it was so great to have some quiet nights. Would definitely stay there again!
