Close to hiking and biking trails, this family-friendly vacation home brings it all within reach.

Altmühl Valley Nature Park is just a short walk away, so you can leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking, or jump in your vehicle to make short work of the 6-minute drive to Museum Solnhofen. After you return to this 2799-sq-ft vacation home, you can unwind by the private pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the porch or lanai and BBQ grill.

As for the great indoors, you can try your hand at table tennis, or enjoy the internet and cable/satellite TV. A dining area and a sofa bed are featured at this 8-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom rental.

Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and towels.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, cookware, and a toaster.

And because there's a washer and dryer, you can go a bit lighter on your packing.
