Perched five metres above the forest floor, this heated geodesic dome is open year-round and fully self-contained, combining the magic of a treehouse with the comfort of a luxury retreat.
Inside, a super king-size bed anchors the space, with a wood-burning stove adding warmth and atmosphere on cooler evenings. A fully equipped kitchenette, large rain shower and thoughtful design throughout ensure you have everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay.
Step out onto your private deck and take in the stillness of the trees, or wander down to explore Fernwood’s woodland paths, lakeside sauna and plunge pool.

Our organic farm is on a 140 acre private estate comprising of native woodland and bog, on the shores of the Salt Lake.
Walk out your front door to explore, in complete solitude, our 2km of woodland paths, the wonders of the Connemara bogland or relax in our newly constructed lakeside sauna house with plunge pool.
You can chose to stay in our new refurbished Bothy conversion which is finished to the highest spec with underfloor heating, wood burning stove, sheepskin rugs and feather down duvets
For the ultimate experience chose our luxury treehouse dome/tent or better again a Stilt House Suite with private wood-fired Swedish Hot Tub.

I loved how peaceful and quiet it was, the perfect escape of our busy lives. The accommodation provided all the necessities and it was incredibly clean. The Fernwood area is amazing for a morning and evening walk. Waking up in the morning with the view of nature couldn't be more perfect.

The facilities were excellent, top quality. The relaxing environment of the dome and the surrounding area. The ability to just switch off. It lashed down when we were there and it was fabulous, cosy in the dome with the log burner going. Walks around the forest were well mapped out. It was a lovey stay away to reset.

Staying in the dome felt like I was back in east Africa. I loved waking up and starting the fire and looking out into the trees while sipping my coffee. Simon & Anne have created a truly magical oasis (especially the sauna overlooking the lake) that will have you feeling recharged and reset. They also helped me out of a ditch I drove into for which I am forever grateful!
