Surrounded by green fields, this superb Villa is located 500 m. from the beautiful sandy beaches of Fregene and just 20 minutes train ride from the center/Vatican city.
The villa boasts an indoor Jacuzzi whirlpool bath for 2 and a wonderful outdoor heated mini pool Jacuzzi for 6, located in the garden, with hydro massage. There is also a lovely large Finnish sauna ideal for a relaxing and healthy stay.
5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a wonderful large living area, a tranquil private garden, a lovely patio with outdoor dining area and barbecue.
The villa has been designed to compliment its Roman location, each sleeping room is bright and airy and has air-conditioning, perfect for hot days, and also a heating system for autumn and winter months.
The 5 bedrooms are spread over 3 floors, offering space and calm for each guest. On the ground floor there is 1 single bedroom and 1 bathroom, on the first floor there is one double bedroom, and one room with bunk beds (adult size) and a single bed, both with en-suite bathrooms, and on the second floor there are one double bedroom and one large 2 single beds room convertible to 4 single beds and 1 bathroom.
There is a well equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances, a dining area with views out to the garden and a large living area with a wonderful fireplace, an ideal place to relax indoors, that leads to the outdoor patio with sheltered outdoor dining area and barbecue area.
The villa is tastefully furnished, the floors are in terracotta, bathroom in Siena marble, patio and fireplace made of travertine and river stones. Refined decorations and trompe l'oeil walls. The villa offers also a satellite smart TV, HDMI cable, WI-FI and parking area. Game area with table tennis. Gym area.
The villa is perfectly cleaned and there is a gardener who takes care of the garden.
Fregene has very beautiful beaches and a fun set of beach bars and restaurants. Rome is easily accessible by train (20 minutes train ride from Maccarese/Fregene railways station to the Vatican).

We had a big family group and we were very comfortable here. We walked to restaurants and beach and drove into Rome. Our host was very helpful with any questions and provided us with many options. For example my granddaughter had her birthday and we used Maurizio Guerrazzi an excellent chef our host...

We had two families of 5 stay at Villa Simonetta and the house was perfect! It was a perfect mix of beach town living and a short train ride from downtown Rome for sight seeing. Highly recommend getting the bikes and the local wine tasting, we loved our time there!
