In July, an international film festival is often held here, where films are projected directly onto the walls of the buildings around the piazza. Take excursions to the towns of Siracusa and Noto, also known as the "regina barocca" (the baroque queen), taste the delicious tomatoes of Pachino and try a wine tasting in the Val di Noto.
