Welcome to the mountainside in beautiful Oberammergau. The sustainable wooden house is located at the foot of the Kofel and on the banks of the Ammer. An open-plan living/dining/kitchen area offers plenty of space, large window fronts provide lots of light, and walls made of light-coloured spruce wood and a wood-burning stove ensure a cosy atmosphere. The surrounding mountains or the river can be seen through the windows, from the garden or from the balconies. Cross-country skiing and hiking trails run right outside the door. There is a sauna in the basement for all house guests.
The holiday flat is located on the upper floor and has its own entrance, which can be reached via an external staircase. Through the front door you enter an open hallway, which leads into a light-flooded living, cooking and dining area with sofa corner, cosy wood-burning stove and large panoramic window front - with a view of the Ammer and mountains. On the upper floor there is a bedroom (bed size 160x200cm), a bedroom/sofa room (sofa bed 160x200cm) and a spacious, bright bathroom (with washing machine). A beautiful wooden staircase in the living room connects the upper floor with the attic gallery. There is another bedroom (bed size 180x200cm) with a leather sofa. The sitting window offers a view over the Ammer into the valley. Under one of the three skylights there is another sofa bed (single bed) for counting stars at night and reading during the day. The open area of the roof gallery is also ideal for working, playing games and table football. There is a small separate toilet in the loft. All bedrooms can be darkened using curtains or pleated blinds. The west-facing balcony on the first floor is accessible from the living room and offers plenty of space for dining, even with larger groups. On the second floor under the roof there is another balcony with a hammock, which is accessible from the play and work room. Sauna: The house has a sauna in the basement, which can be used by all parties. Holidays in large groups: The flat is suitable for larger groups if additional guests are accommodated on the ground floor (max. 4 people), in the studio (max. 2 people) or in the extra room (max. 2 people). The dining table in the living area on the ground floor and first floor can seat 10 people each, and up to 15 people on the balconies (beer table sets are available in the barn next to the carport). Parking: There are parking spaces in front of the house and there is a charging station for electric cars in the carport. Access for guests: You have the entire flat on the upper and top floor at your disposal. This consists of 2 bedrooms with double bed, a sofa room with sofa bed, a loft (with additional sofa bed), bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen with open-plan living and dining area, two balconies (on the 1st and 2nd floor).
