The famous D-Day beaches and the nearby town of Arromanches with its modern museum will fascinate history buffs... Much older history that you will also discover in the medieval districts of the pretty town of Bayeux (15 km). However, the region is known above all for its vast sandy beaches, its wonderfully green countryside and its gastronomic specialties, butter, cream, cider, camembert and oysters.
