The hamlet of Marnod is located on the heights of the village at an altitude of 700 m. In this small town of Saint Germain de Joux, gigantic cylindrical hollows 2 to 3 m deep. The Semine and its tributary the Combet are the only ones responsible for this natural beauty.
For the most seasoned or the most athletic, why not try the mountain circuit. After these rhythmic atmospheres of climbs or descents, relax near one of the three lakes of Haut Bugey. Choose from Nantua lake, Sylans lake and why not the Petit Canada of Haut Bugey?
For the winter season, about 6 km away, Giron is, depending on the season, a real paradise for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. With its 1000 m altitude, kilometers of trails for everyone.
After days full of activities, enjoy the cottage for 4 people with its different spaces and levels. And if happiness was found near the wood stove, curl up on the sofa with a good book. For a moment of softness, on request, Nordic bath (WE 40 €).

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au gîte Milou. Le gîte est neuf, très confortable, rénové avec beaucoup de goût dans une ancienne ferme. La chambre moderne est très agréable. Lieu et cadre paisible. Merci à Martine et à Yves pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et toutes leurs attentions. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte!

Nice clean modern place on multiple levels. Very well equipped. Good parking. Bathroom downstairs from bedroom. The nice landlady speaks perfect English and lives below us. Great views. Nice small deck area with a view of the surrounding mountains. Out in the countryside on a mountain side. Bed of normal firmness. Quiet with cow bells.

Nous avons passé un super séjour de 5jours chez Yves et Martine. Le gîte est au milieu de la nature super propre au dessus du logememt des propriétaires. Nous avons pu tester le bain nordique et petit bonus de la roquette fraichement cueillie du jardin de nos hôtes.Si vous cherchez à vous ressourcer c'est l'endroit parfait.
