In this dreamlike, approx. 135 m² romantic hut - from the outside a mix of old half-timbered houses and modern architecture, the interior was also skilfully interpreted old with new. The hut impresses with lots of wood, modern technology and special luxury features.

The cosy and homely interior is characterised by rustic old wooden furniture, warm oak floorboards, a romantic wood-burning fireplace and lots of beautiful cushions and blankets, furs and lamps. Here you immediately feel at home and in harmony with nature.

The sociable centrepiece is the purist modern kitchen with cooking island and the spacious living-dining area with the gnarled old oak table and wood-burning fireplace. This is where everyone gathers for enjoyable cooking, savouring or for shared conversations and leisurely hours by the flickering fire in the fireplace.

A highlight for wellness lovers is the large, luxurious bathroom with spa area. After a relaxing sauna session, you can end the day on the large terrace or in front of the fireplace.

The Romantikhütte Winterberg-Willingen consists of 2 units.
In addition to the kitchen, the living/dining room and the wellness bathroom for our guests, the main unit has two beautiful bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 adults. The large master bedroom is furnished with a high-quality box-spring bed as well as down duvets and pillows. If required, another person can also sleep here on a comfortable sofa. The second bedroom also has box-spring beds for a further 2 people.

An additional small unit is available for bookings with more than 4 people. This is located on the ground floor with its own entrance and contains two very nice rooms with sleeping facilities for a total of 4 people including kitchenette, sitting area, shower and guest toilet.

The garden also leaves nothing to be desired. Here our guests will find a large terrace right next to the house with table and benches, as well as a lounge sofa area with parasol and a large electric barbecue. Opposite the Romantikhütte on the forest and meadow property, you will find your own picnic area - an oasis of peace under fir trees, right by the stream.

The Romantikhütte Willingen-Winterberg is idyllically situated on the edge of the small village of Referinghausen. The ideal starting point for excursions to Willingen and Usseln, as well as Medebach, Winterberg and Schmallenberg. Only a few minutes separate you from the tourist hotspots to enjoy all the amenities of these places. The most beautiful hiking routes are right in front of the hut.
In winter you will find many ski and toboggan slopes nearby. Winter hikes to one of the surrounding huts, where you can stop off, eat and drink, are also recommended. In the warmer months, we recommend a trip to the Diemelsee lake. And of course you can explore the surrounding area on foot, by bike or mountain bike.
