Tonnau Yr Oleu or “ Waves of Light” is a charming terraced house boasting stunning sea views from four floors from its elevated position in Barmouth, Gwynedd.
Perfectly situated near Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, with an access path from a side door onto Dinas Oleu, (Fortress of Light) and onto the Panorama Walk, and the National paths network to Eryri, and just a short stroll from the beach and local amenities, this dog-friendly retreat welcomes families and friends for an unforgettable coastal escape.
Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by a spacious kitchen/diner, a real social hub of the property, fully equipped for all your culinary needs.
Adjacent to this, you'll find a handy utility room and a convenient cloakroom with a WC and basin.
Ascend to the first floor to discover a grand sitting room, boasting a feature fireplace, high ceilings, and bay windows that frame the stunning sea views.
The second bedroom is also on this floor, a snug double room, with an impressive view of the rocky cliff.
This floor also houses a cloakroom with a WC and basin for added convenience.
Continue your journey to the second floor, where you'll find a tastefully-presented king-size suite adorned with nautical decor, offers ample storage space and an open-style en-suite with shower and a freestanding bath from which you can soak up the sea views.

On the first floor; sitting room, cloakroom, and double room. On the second floor; king-size bedroom with open-style en-suite freestanding bath, walk-in shower, basin, and WC, shower room and cloakroom. On the third floor; double and a twin room. Highchair and travel cot available. Front enclosed terrace with furniture, and roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Three well-behaved dogs welcome (10 GBP per pet, per stay). Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. Shop and pub 0.2 miles. Barmouth property is an idyllic coastal escape. Note: Property has no parking, there is road-side parking and also a train station nearby. Note: Property is on an elevated position. Note: There is a Good Housekeeping bond of 450 GBP. Please note, if parking in the town, it takes 5-10 mintue to reach the property but the hill is very steep and it is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Note: There is a 4 day minimum stay. Please note: This property cannot accommodate hen/stag or similar parties. Note: We are unable to accept cats due to the owners' severe cat allergy.
