About the Host Mainaublick is a very special apartment.

The view from the living room and the terrace of the castle, the lower town, and the lake encompasses everything for which Meersburg is famous... and you can only get this view from this old row of houses in Winzergasse. The terrace, with its wonderful view, invites you to read, have breakfast, dine, and drink wine – and it is a highlight and an absolute rarity in Meersburg. What is also special is that the wall facing the balcony is the old, several-meter-thick city wall, construction of which began in the 13th century.

Thick, slanted wooden beams in the apartment, the small, narrow rooms – all are a testament to the past, which we have lovingly integrated into the modernly equipped apartment.

Nothing here is made to look old – everything is genuinely historical and particularly valuable to us. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast or a meal.

You can already glimpse the lake from the dining area and the couch.

The small bedroom is quiet and somewhat cooler, facing east, and here we have integrated the open shower room (separate toilet). In the tasteful decor, we repeatedly bring the lake to life through pictures, colors, or decorations.

We want to give you a bit of a beach house feel here – where nature, the water, the wide sky, the first glance at the lake in the morning and the last in the evening... allow you to find peace and relaxation. Our house is located in the quiet and idyllic medieval Winzergasse, directly opposite the castle.

It offers a magnificent view to the southwest across the lake, with views of Mainau, the lower-lying picturesque old town around Steigstrasse, and over the former vineyard of the Prince-Bishop (now a small park) down to the ferry harbor.

However, after just 20 meters, you are right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old town, with its restaurants, wine taverns, cafés, and shops.

All sights in the old town (palace, castle, Droste-Hülshoff cottage, ...), the lakeside promenade, the outdoor pool, and the beautiful thermal spa are quickly reachable on foot.

For excursions by ferry or the excursion boats of the White Fleet, and your shopping (supermarket, bakery, post office, savings bank, pharmacy, organic shop, ...), you can confidently leave your car parked – all destinations are comfortably reachable on foot in just a few minutes. A nearby garage is available for your bicycles, e-bikes, and bike racks for a small fee. Meersburg is the ideal starting point for a Lake Constance vacation.

By car, bike, or the numerous ships operating from here, you can easily explore the 3-country region as well as the picturesque hinterland of Linzgau and Hegau. Meersburg itself is a beautiful town; due to its hillside location, medieval buildings, warm climate, and beautiful lakeside promenade, it is reminiscent of Italy.

Good Baden cuisine and excellent local wine round this off. Please note, however: our house is very old, narrow, and in some places low. Conditions/Extras Prices are subject to local tourist tax. Your arrival is possible between 3 PM and 10 PM.

On the day of departure, the units must be vacated by 10 AM. Free cancellation is possible up to 8 weeks before arrival; thereafter, 100% of the total price will be charged as cancellation fees. A deposit of 20% of the total price is required immediately after booking.

After about 800 meters, you will reach a traffic light; turn left here into the old town.

Please drive past the "Anlieger frei" (residents only) sign into the pedestrian zone and immediately take the first very small alley on the right after about 20 meters (do not go into the parking lot on the right), which is Winzergasse.
