The Stocks consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, and toaster, a dining area with dining seating for four, and a sitting area with a Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and double. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is a communal front garden and designated parking space for one car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking at this property. Guests can find a shop and a pub within 0.1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Whatever the weather, a wonderful stay awaits at The Stocks. A great flat - comfy, warm and spotlessly clean. Perfect location for seeing family but also for travelling to both Manchester and Liverpool. The kitchen is well equipped and we ate in a few times as well as visiting the local eateries on the high street. Having no heat in the bathroom was a bit challenging but hopefully this will be sorted soon. The rest of the flat is warm and cosy.

We booked The Stocks for the location, with off road parking and just 5 mins walk from the train station, and it was better than we expected. Overall clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Better supply of towels than most places. Even the main road was no problem because the sound proofing was good. The only things I would change are the kitchen chairs, which were hard for my liking.
