Restaurants and bars are less than a 10-minute walk away.
For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities. Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows and enjoy grass skiing.
There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming.
The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings.
