Nestled in the heart of the Admont/Weng National Park community, with a magnificent panoramic view of the Gesäuse massif including Ödstein, Hochtor, Planspitze, the Admont Reichenstein and Kalbling, and the Admont Basin, we extend a warm welcome to you. Experience and enjoy your well-deserved holiday in our house with its cordial, family atmosphere, personal service, and abundant comfort.
Our rooms/holiday apartments are modernly and newly equipped, partly within "old walls." Whether for a family holiday, a relaxing break, or an active vacation, a winter or summer getaway, there's something suitable for everyone and every season.
Enjoy relaxation in the unique nature of the Gesäuse National Park region with its diverse valley, alpine pasture, and mountain landscapes.
Hikes in the Gesäuse Mountains and the adjacent Haller Mauern, along the varied newly designed themed trails, or to the beautifully situated alpine pastures and mountain huts in the area offer activities suitable for everyone.
The view into the Gesäuse reveals a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. The beds in our rooms/apartments, with a sleeping surface of 2000 mm, are equipped with high-quality BÜLTEX cold foam mattresses, ensuring healthy and restful sleep in a quiet environment.
All rooms feature natural wood floors, modern bathrooms with shower and toilet.
The rooms offer free Wi-Fi and televisions with cable connections and a wide range of programs.
Our rooms in the Admont/Weng National Park community are heated with CO2-neutral biomass heating.

Beautiful View(s) From our house, due to our slightly elevated position opposite the village center, you can enjoy an incomparable view of the Gesäuse (Planspitze - Peternscharte - Rosskuppe - Hochtor - Festkogel - Großer Ödstein), the Admont Reichenstein group (with Sparafeld - Kaibling - Riffl - Kreuzkogel), and the Admont Basin. Gesäuse Vital Breakfast (with regional delicacies) What could be better than starting your well-deserved holiday with a delicious and leisurely breakfast? We serve you our fresh Gesäuse Vital breakfast buffet daily, featuring a generous healthy corner, invigorating coffee and tea variations, fresh regional fruit juices, fragrant bread and pastries, homemade jams (while stocks last), yogurt, muesli, seasonal fruit, cold cuts and cheese specialties, fresh eggs, and much more... Check-out by 10:00 AM / Check-in from approx. 2:00 PM Directions: Coming from the Pyhrnautobahn (A9), take the ARDNING exit (directly before or after the toll station) and drive towards Admont.
In the Admont/Hall roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards St. Gallen/Altenmarkt/Weyer and after approx. 4 km, turn left at the entrance to Weng.
After approx. 300 m, turn right at the intersection (with a traffic island), then after approx. 100 m, turn slightly uphill to the left towards Kletzenberg, and then after approx. 200 m, turn right again and drive to the "end" of the road. Privatzimmer Gassner is located in the Weng district.
The Gassner house (private rooms and holiday apartments) is also indicated on the public village signage!
