The OVO Network team’s opinion - Petit Mazot La Chandelle is a beautifully-renovated farm building in Bionnassay, a small hamlet above the busy resort of Saint-Gervais (8km), but you'll feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere and yet, you’ll be just 15 minutes from the slopes of Les Contamines and Saint-Gervais.
For ski touring enthusiasts, the slopes of Les Houches ski resort can be reached on skis in just 30 minutes. This tiny home sleeps just two guests, making it perfect for a nature escape.
There's a large double bed in an alcove, and a shower room with a WC. The chalet also has a well-equipped kitchen and a small dining table. Outside, there's a table with bench seating where you can enjoy a drink or a meal in front of the stunning mountain views. Groups can book the Petit Mazot La Chandelle with Chalet La Chandelle (12) and/or the Grand Mazot La Chandelle (4 guests), giving a total capacity of up to 18 guests. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Pets are welcome (1 max) and must be supervised.
Any additional cleaning or damages caused may be covered by the security deposit.
Access: 200 meters from the main road via a paved road.
In winter, the road is cleared daily, but snow tyres and chains are required to access the chalet, in accordance with the Mountain Law from November 1 to March 31. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended in case of heavy snowfall.
Parking is available 200m from the mazot.
Parties are not allowed. The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up before arrival.
No funds are taken or blocked on your card.
Your card details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure.

L'emplacemet devant les montagnes
Le calme, mais aucuns des autres chalets autour de nous n'etaient occupé.
La proximité à pied, de la tres bonne auberge de Bionnassay.
Juste la petite echelle pour monter au lit (trop raide et cassante pour les pieds !
