Three main emerging basins: El Risco, Guayedra and Agaete, reaching a maximum altitude of 1,180 metres in the Tamadaba Pinar Sommital Zone. Tamadaba Natural Park is a protected area, and contains the largest pine forest in Gran Canaria.

To the sea, the massif descends by steep slopes, ravines and steep cliffs creating a landscape of great beauty, where stands out the impressive Roque Faneque, whose 1,008 meters of height fall vertically on the sea, being considered one of the highest active cliffs in the world.

Already in the upper part of the massif, at more than 1,000 meters altitude, appears a flat surface occupied by a dense forest of canarian pines. From the Agaete Valley, which is distinguished by its unique beauty and its tropical fruits, oranges and coffee trees, one obtains impressive views of the Tamadaba massif, with its thick pine forests.

Here are the Hermitage and its Triptych of Notre-Dame des Neiges, the latter attributed to the 16th-century Flemish painter Joos Van Cleve.
