It is a great day out for all the family. The Piazza della Riforma is the heart of Lugano (15 minutes drive) and the ideal place for an aperitivo or espresso whilst you watch the world go by.

The city of Lugano is well known for its rich cultural heritage.

It is home to many museums and galleries. One of the most popular is MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (11 minute drive) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. Parco San Grato (15 minute drive) high in the hills offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in nature, with beautiful, themed hikes and stunning views over the lake.

There is plenty for children to do, including hand-crafted swings, a playground and special star gazing evenings. The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 55 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 10 minute journey.
