Our Gästehaus Veitl is located in the Taxach district on the outskirts of Ried, in a quiet, meadow-like setting close to the woods.
The center of Ried im Zillertal can be reached in just a 5-minute walk.
There you will find shops, restaurants, ski rentals, the train station, and a bus stop. We offer our guests a cozy lounge with satellite TV and a guest refrigerator, a rich breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi, a ski room, and ample parking. Depending on your wishes, you can stay in our rooms with shower/WC or in our new apartments – particularly suitable for your holiday with children. The First Holiday Region in the Zillertal delights hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers alike in the summer.
The entrance to the most beautiful hiking trails and the Zillertal cycle path are just a few minutes' walk from our Gästehaus Veitl.
You can find relaxation at the Stumm swimming paradise or at the Fügen thermal spa, which are easily and quickly accessible.
The new 18-hole Zillertal golf course in Uderns is located in the neighboring town and is a paradise for golf lovers. In winter, excellent ski areas beckon with fantastic slopes.
The snow-covered forests and snow-capped peaks will enchant you. Just 2 km from our Gästehaus Veitl, you will find the Hochzillertal - Hochfügen ski area.
Sun skiing, après-ski fun, evening skiing, and much more await you there, as do the currently most popular ski huts, the Kristallhütte and the Wedelhütte. Top ski schools ensure that guests of all ages can learn to ski under expert guidance.

Please note that the wellness area is not open in the summer. Please note that in winter, the wellness area may only be available to a limited extent or upon request due to energy costs. Please note that for the apartments Großried and Turmsuite, the 3rd room is only available for 5 adults or more. Our Gästehaus Veitl and our apartment house Veitl are located in the center of Ried, yet in a quiet area directly amidst the green of the surrounding meadows. In the immediate vicinity, you will find a cross-country ski trail, and about 100 meters away is the ski bus stop – the fastest way to the Hochzillertal ski area.
