Once upon a time, in the beautiful national forest of Longeville-sur-Mer, there was a lovingly renovated and refurbished house dating from the 60s and 70s, tucked away in the pine forest, waiting for its holidaymakers in the summer months.


It already had a vision of children playing in its large wooded garden, parents preparing a barbecue or relaxing on the terrace. She could see her tenants having breakfast outside, in the warm morning air, at a time when all you can hear is birdsong. She also thought they could all cycle to the beach. It was easy: all they had to do was pedal 850 m straight under the trees to get there.


On their return, they could prepare tasty meals in her brand new kitchen, complete with induction hob, fridge, freezer, conventional oven and microwave. At nightfall, the children would climb into the bunk beds to relive their day before falling asleep, and the older ones would find two bedrooms with double beds for a good night's rest, in the peace and quiet, in the middle of this forest so peaceful and soothing.
