Part of the charm of Robin Hood’s Bay is the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, no cars are allowed into the village, visitors leave their cars on the cliff top and walk down the hill to enjoy a village untouched by time, at the top of the village, the Cleveland Way cliff-top walking trail offers spectacular views, while The Cinder Track disused railway runs for 23 miles and can be enjoyed by cyclists, walkers and horse riders.
Head south to Ravenscar and take a stroll down the cliff to the beach, where you’ll find a colony of seals, or head north to Whitby where you can enjoy the Gothic Whitby Abbey ruins, fresh fish and chips, traditional arcades, Whitby Museum and much more.

Rokeby House has a king-size with basin and en-suite walk-in shower, a second-floor double and two second-floor twin. There’s a second-floor bathroom with a bath, handheld shower, basin, and WC and a first-floor cloakroom with WC. There’s a kitchen/diner equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. There’s a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a first-floor sitting room with balcony. Central heating, WiFi, fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. One well-behaved pet welcome. Outside there’s an enclosed rear balcony with patio and furniture. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.1 miles, beach 0.1 miles. Whatever the weather enjoy a stay at Rokeby House. Note: The en-suite does not include a WC or door, but has an ornamental screen for privacy. Please Note: The property is on multiple floors and some may find the stairs steeper than modern houses therefore may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Please note: The parking is not directly outside the property, there are two car parks one at the top and one at the bottom of the hill where the property is. Please note: The fireplace in the property is not for guest use.

Beautiful property with wonderful coastal views from the balcony. We enjoyed our stay in Robin Hoods Bay so much, we have booked to come back next year. Hopefully the stairs from the balcony to the outside path will be accessible next year. One slight niggle was, the previous guests had left a bag of rubbish in the front garden.

The property was lovely and big enough for the family. A small issue with the cleanliness. I had to clean the main living space as there was black fluff and hair everywhere maybe from the previous tenants dog ? Not enough mugs for the property. It was lovely and warm. Good heating system for the time of year.
