The approx. 100 m² roof terrace with a terrific view across the sea as far as Salerno is the centerpiece of this holiday apartment near Cetara.
La Casa del Capitano owes its name to the present owner’s father – a passionate angler, who once used the rooms as a retreat when pursuing his favorite hobby.
Several of his collectibles and parts of his equipment still adorn the apartment today. A REFUGE FOR TWO WITH LARGE ROOF TERRACE Casa del Capitano might be the perfect accommodation for a couple’s holidays on the Amalfi Coast.
It is conveniently located for (cultural) excursions along the coast, to Salerno, Pompeii or Paestum.
Mention should be made also of a culinary specialty from Cetara: the famous "colatura", the salt of antiquity.
The apartment might appear small compared to its terrace, but as a guest you will find most of what you need: a bedroom, a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet), a small living room with mini kitchen nook (refrigerator, two plate electric cooker, pots, some dishes and cutlery, moka pot, oil, salt, sugar).
The apartment features air conditioning.
In the 3-story house, in which the holiday apartments Casa Aliberti and Casetta Mauro are also located besides La Casa del Capitano, an elevator is available for guests.
A free-of-charge parking space is at your disposal on the hardly frequented residential road below the completely fenced property.
To load and unload your luggage, you can of course pull up to the house, but the drive is steep. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE GULF OF SALERNO The roof terrace opens upon a spectacular view of the Gulf of Salerno and Vietri sul Mare.
It is like a living room out in the open, a perfect spot to soak up the sun, to relax and to enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful coasts 'alone'.
The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs, sun loungers and sun chairs as well as a sunshade. BETWEEN CETARA AND VIETRI SUL MARE La Casa del Capitano is ca. 3 km from Cetara and ca. 4 km from Vietri sul Mare.
There’s a bus stop on the road not far from the property.
From Cetara, buses depart for Salerno as well as for Amalfi.
For ca. € 3 /person (subject to change), you can use a shuttle service to or from Cetara.
Grocery stores as well as recommendable restaurants, bars and cafés are found both at Cetara and at Vietri sul Mare.
