In July and August, guests can enjoy free guided hikes.

Valmeinier provides a wide range of outdoor activities for visitors, including archery, mountain biking, hiking, via ferrata, mini-golf, whitewater sports, and climbing.

From your vacation rental, you can easily explore the Ecrins and Vanoise National Parks, the Maurienne Valley, the Galibier, Iseran, and Mont Cenis passes, as well as nearby destinations such as Italy and the fortified town of Briançon.

Accommodation:
The residence features 145 units spread across two uniquely styled three-story chalets and one six-story building.

All three buildings are equipped with elevators, ensuring easy access.

The accommodations are thoughtfully integrated into the regional architectural style and range from studio apartments for 3–4 guests to spacious 4-room units that can accommodate up to 8 people.

Interior

Our apartments offer a fully equipped kitchenette (ceramic hob, microwave/grill, dishwasher) and a bathroom or shower with a toilet.

For entertainment, a television is available in your apartment (additional cost). Enjoy fresh mountain air and stunning views from your balcony or terrace, available with every apartment.

We also offer two accessible 2-room apartments for 4/5 people, designed for guests with reduced mobility.

Standard 2-Room Apartment (approx. 25 m², Sleeps 4/5):

• Living room with a trundle bed (sleeps 2) + extra single bed.
• Bedroom with 1 double bed.
• Equipped kitchenette (ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave/grill, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, electric coffee maker).
• Bathroom.
• Separate WC.

Accessible 2-Room Apartment (very limited availability, Sleeps 4/5):

• Living room with a convertible sofa bed (sleeps 2, adapted for reduced mobility).
• Bedroom with 2 bunk beds + 1 single bed.
• Equipped kitchenette (ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave/grill, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, electric coffee maker).
• Shower room with WC (adapted for reduced mobility).

Located high above Valmeinier, Résidence Les Lumières de Neige offers stunning views of the Maurienne Valley and easy access to the natural and cultural gems of the French Alps.

Summer Activities: Enjoy hiking, mountain biking (75 km of trails), canyoning, via ferrata, paragliding, and whitewater sports.

The area also offers mini-golf in Valloire, archery, orienteering, and adventure courses.

Explore nearby treasures like the Ecrins & Vanoise National Parks, the Galibier, Mont Cenis & Iseran passes, the fortress of Briançon, scenic lakes, cheese farms, local museums, and Savoyard cuisine (tartiflette, croziflette, cheeses, blueberry tart).

Winter Fun: In winter, enjoy direct access to the Galibier-Thabor ski area with 160 km of slopes.

Activities include alpine and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, dog sledding, snowmobile rides, and après-ski relaxation.

Conditions

• A deposit and tourist tax are payable on site.
• The deposit will be processed and released after the inventory check on your departure day.

Arrival and Departure Times:

• Arrival: Saturday between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Late Arrival: Please contact the Residence in advance to arrange check-in procedures.
• Departure: Saturday before 10:00 AM (independent departure).

Included in Your Stay:

• TV.
• WIFI access (one connection per apartment).
• Guided hikes** during the summer school holidays (family hikes from 4 years old).
• End-of-stay additional cleaning*** (excluding kitchen area and dishes).

***Please note that while an additional end-of-stay cleaning is included, all accommodations must be left in a generally clean and tidy condition.

Additional cleaning required due to the condition of the accommodation upon departure may result in charges deducted from your deposit.
