Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom flat in an excellent location, ideal for a family holiday. Only 3 minutes walk to the sea and the promenade of San Pedro and only 10 minutes to Marbella and Puerto Banus by car.
The complex has two large seasonal communal outdoor swimming pools, one of them close to the property. The flat has air conditioning, international TV and Wi-fi, marble flooring, fireplace and is one of the few south facing ground floor flats.
On entering the property we find a very spacious living/dining room that leads out onto the beautiful terrace furnished with comfortable garden furniture surrounded by well kept gardens where you can enjoy dinner and a few drinks on warm evenings.
The master bedroom has a double bed with en-suite marble bathroom and the second bedroom has two single beds, both with large fitted wardrobes. It also has another full bathroom.
The kitchen is independent, bright and fully equipped, including a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, with plenty of space to enjoy a good breakfast or a delicious dinner in a very pleasant environment.
Pool/pool area opening hours: From around Easter until the end of June: 1 pool is open. July - August: 2 pools are open. From September to the end of October: 1 pool is open. Between October and Easter there is no pool open. Times may vary depending on the weather.
We always provide complimentary beach towels for your comfort.
The property is located in a non-party urbanisation. There should be no noise late at night and no anti-social or disruptive behaviour.
Location
San Pedro Alcántara is a coastal town situated between Marbella and Estepona. Very traditional and relaxed, it attracts the type of visitor looking for a more discreet holiday.
San Pedro is a vibrant town full of restaurants, bars, bakeries and ice cream parlours.
Catering-wise it is both local and international, with Irish pubs, Asian restaurants, Dutch bars, as well as traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. There are a couple of supermarkets (Mercadona, Maskom, Carrefour and Dia), a 24-hour pharmacy and boutiques. Thursday is market day, a real paradise for bargain hunters. The Boulevard is fast becoming the heart of San Pedro and a children's favourite with a total of six playgrounds and an area for skateboarding and rollerblading. Meanwhile adults can sit nearby or go to one of the bars/restaurants for a drink, a snack or a meal.
Nueva Alcántara is the new part of town with wide tree-lined avenues leading to the beach. It has a 2 km long promenade which doubles as an outdoor gym with exercise machines and is always full of joggers, prams and dog walkers. It is dotted with beach bars all along the way, most of them serving Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the ubiquitous tinto de verano to quench your thirst. The promenade also connects to Puerto Banús and it is possible to walk to Marbella.
If you are looking for a great night out, Marbella and Puerto Banús are just a short drive away.
For sporting activities, there are plenty of options. Very close to the urbanisation is the Nueva Alcántara Club with 16 paddle tennis courts and the I/O gymnasium. The adjacent residential area of Guadalmina is also known for its well maintained golf courses. If you just want to play a few balls, try Guadalmina's public driving range (located near the Barceló Hotel). Cable Ski Marbella, next to the driving range, also offers wakeboarding, kneeboarding and water skiing lessons.
The road to Ronda starts in San Pedro so experienced cyclists can enjoy a challenging but beautiful ride.
