In addition to the Thuringian Forest, the open hills of the Vorderrhön invite you to wonderful hikes, and the Werratal bike trail leads directly through the town.
Experience the nearby forest botanical plants, which are considered a rarity, and take city trips to Meiningen, Eisenach, Erfurt, Gotha, Weimar or Schmalkalden.
