Accommodation description
This gem of the Périgord is located at the foothills of the Dordogne valley.
This fantastically beautiful and authentic holiday home dates back to the 14th century but has contemporary comforts.
The interior is atmospheric and befitting a house of this quality.
You have access to a private pool, 20 ha of forest all around, lots of hiking possibilities, and undisturbed peace! The views are sublime, and you will love coming back to this fantastic place! The village of Besse is small but very charming! The old houses are well maintained and give the village a lot of atmosphere.
The old church is also worth a visit, and during the summer months, there is a nice little restaurant where you can linger.
By the way, all this is easy to walk to. Villefranche du Périgord is an old Bastide with a lovely town square, a good restaurant, several shops, and a covered market.
You can swim in natural waters in Catus or Cazals, which has a lively Sunday market Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed.
Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine. Faciliteiten waren prima! Mooie plek en een goede uitvalsbasis om de leuke plaatsjes in de Dordogne te bezoeken. Helaas ‘s nachts veel overlast van ongedierte onder het dakbeschot gehad. Dit zorgde voor onrustige nachten en minder slaap. Dit wel in goede afstemming met de eigenaar besproken. Het was de eerste keer dat hij dit ervaarde en heeft wel acuut maatregelen getroffen.

Geweldige tijd gehad in en om het huis ! Compleet huis, heerlijk zwembad, alles netjes verzorgd, volledige privacy, prachtige omgeving. Je loopt vanaf het huis zo het bos in of naar het kleine plaatsje Besse.
De 2 slaapkamers lopen in elkaar over met een deur ertussen. Dus om naar beneden te gaan l...
