About the Host Welcome to our Fichtenhaus on the Wisentpfad! Experience and feel nature for all ages.

Your escape from everyday life. Our holiday home is located amidst meadows and forests, on the outskirts of the municipality of Wingeshausen. Each apartment has its own outdoor area (terrace, balcony and/or garden) inviting you to play and relax.

Families, couples, and larger groups are warmly welcome to spend a truly special time with us, either in nature or enjoying the many recreational opportunities in Wittgenstein and Sauerland. There is a small village shop in the village that can provide you with the essentials.

A supermarket with a bakery is located about 3 km away.

The main house, the Wisenthütte, the Sonnenhof, and the Forellenhof offer culinary variety and are within easy walking distance. The premium hiking destination Bad Berleburg, as well as the adjacent Sauerland region, boast exciting and diverse hiking and cycling routes.

You can start a tour directly on your doorstep on the certified Wisentpfad. Further excursion destinations in the surrounding area: 2 - 20 km: Wisent Wildnis am Rothaarsteig, Kapplerstein climbing rocks, Bad Berleburg Castle, Rothaarbad, 27-hole golf course Winkhausen, 12-hole golf course Sassenhausen, Sauerlandbad, Disc Golf Bad Fredeburg, Freizeitwelt Sauerland, adventure playgrounds Grafschaft and Gleidorf (with mini golf), Panorama Park. 20 - 50 km: Karl May Festival Elspe, Sauerland Pyramiden, Winterberg with many summer and winter activities, Green Hill Bike Park, Fort Fun, Hillebachsee in Niedersfeld with water sports facilities, Hennesee, Biggesee, Möhnesee, and Sorpesee with swimming opportunities, Aventura Spielberg, Aqua Mundo water park. Conditions/Extras Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge.

Cancellations between 14-7 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the total cost.

Cancellations within 7 days before arrival will be charged 100% of the total cost.
