Located 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from the city of Funchal, in the vicinity of Villa ElDoMar you will find a mini market, pharmacy, bank and some cafes. A 5 minute drive you will find the center of the beautiful village of Calheta, with a very active cultural life, a white sand beach and a supermarket. Take the opportunity to spend the day on one of the beaches in Jardim do Mar or Paul do Mar and enjoy a snack and a drink at the end of the day in one of the dining spaces that they have to offer. The best way to get to Villa ElDoMar is by car. If you prefer to get a transfer to and from the airport or to other places on the island, talk to us and we will arrange your trip with our local partners. The transfer has an extra cost, but it is certainly cheaper than the price of taking a taxi at the airport.
