Our Piccola Perla is not a typical holiday flat - we live there ourselves. We like to share it with others who, like us, value something special.
Portese is known for its many olive groves and vineyards.
The flat is located in a small residential complex (where only Italians live) with a lot of charm, surrounded by olive trees and a vineyard.
There is no mass tourism in Portese and even in the high season there is an idyllic tranquillity. Nevertheless, Salo can be reached quickly and easily (approx. 4 min.). The surrounding area (e.g. Verona, Brescia, Milan, Leone, Francia Corta) is also easy to reach.
The flat (approx. 57 m²) is located on the ground floor with a large terrace (approx. 60 m² in total) and an olive tree with wooden deck.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, bidet, WC and washbasin.
The fridge has a separate freezer compartment.
The hob is gas and the oven is electric.
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a kettle, toaster and 3 coffee machines (filter, Italian, Nespresso).
Terrace with awning
Olive tree with wooden deck - a wonderful place to sit and enjoy
The pool of the condominium is for communal use
It is not a holiday flat as we live there ourselves. We like to share our Perla with others when we are not there. It is furnished/equipped accordingly.
Things to know about Lake Garda
Lake Garda lies 65 metres above sea level and is the largest lake in Italy with an area of 369.98 square kilometres. It is 51.6 kilometres long and measures 17.2 kilometres at its widest point. The maximum depth is 346 metres. The main tributary of Lake Garda is the River Sarca in the north near Torbole and the lake flows out again via the River Mincio near Peschiera at an average of 58.4 m3/sec. This is also the official water level measuring station.
The three islands of Lake Garda
There are three islands in Lake Garda. The Isola del Garda with Villa Borghese is the largest and lies between the bays of Salò and Manerba. For some years now, the Isola del Garda and its gardens have also been open to visitors.
Also in the bay of Manerba is the island of "San Biagio", a popular excursion destination that can be reached by boat or on foot through knee- to waist-deep water. Between Brenzone and Malcesine lies the smallest island "Isola di Trimelone". This island is a restricted military area and may not be entered.
Surrounded by vineyards
The southern Garda is embedded in world-famous wine-growing regions. Lugana wine is grown to the south of Desenzano, while the Bardolino, Soave and Valpolicella areas can be found to the east.
