Pôr do Sol is an independent fraction of a villa in a quiet, sunny area, ideal for two to four people.
The accommodation is about 120 m2 and consists of two bedrooms with double beds (1.60 metres wide), a living room with a dining table, a kitchen and a bathroom. It has air conditioning with cooling and heating in the bedrooms and living room.
There are two balconies with views of the ocean and surrounding farmland. The living room balcony is ideal for relaxing in the late afternoon and enjoying the fabulous sunsets with intense colours in autumn.
It is equipped with a fridge and freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), TV with international and children's channels, among other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay.
LOCATION
The accommodation is located in a rural area 330 metres from sea level and 3.5 km from the town of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach, restaurants and cafés.
At 200 metres you will find the start of the Levada do Moinho and at 600 metres the Levada Nova, which are recommended walking routes with fabulous scenery.
Ponta do Sol is located in the south-western part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains and laurel forest for nature lovers and hikers.
In the vicinity it is possible to practise various outdoor activities, such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.
The property has access to the main roads.
NOTES
A car is recommended for this location and there is free parking at the property.
The entrance to the property is shared with the owner's main house, but the accommodation is independent.
We ask all guests to keep food well packaged so as not to attract insects due to the island's climate.
Cleaning is done before guests arrive and there is weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes changing bed linen and towels.
There is a small construction site nearby, which can cause noise and disturbance during the day on weekdays.
Increasing the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10 per cent per person.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties and behaviour that disturbs the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10pm and 8am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, the time of arrival and the means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival times is available via a key safe whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For in-person check-in, an appointment is required and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be booked according to our availability.
4. Guests may be asked to present identification upon arrival and to provide missing identification data to fulfil legal requirements.
5. Guests must inform us of any allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures can be taken.
