Sheryl and Haydn the owners have created a real home from home ambience within this stunning cottage, perfect for relaxing with family & friends. Their attention to detail throughout has resulted in a light and airy space with comfy and relaxing interiors. This spacious cottage boasts a semi open plan ground floor space, allowing the spectacular views to be enjoyed.

Enter this enchanting cottage directly into the welcoming kitchen, which is exceptionally well appointed with a range cooker taking centre stage, while the large island makes cooking up hearty breakfasts and tasty suppers a cook’s delight! You will also find a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, slow cooker along with a cafetiere for that all important morning coffee!

There is also a handy utility room complete with washing machine and ample space for storing wet and mudding walking attire, or those all-important sandy buckets and spades!

Flowing from the kitchen to the living space, you will find a spacious dining area, with seating for 4, making this a very sociable area and allowing you to capture sea views through the French doors.

A large window and French doors fill the living space with light and provide wonderful views out to sea. The log burner is a lovely feature, and comfy seating provides the perfect space for playing board games or simply relaxing after a day on the beach and catch up on the day’s adventures.

The first of two bedrooms is located on the ground floor. Providing a comfy double bed with a real nautical feel to this room.

Set on the ground floor, the owners have taken great care to make this bathroom the perfect fit for the cottage. The bathtub is just what you need, for soaking any aching muscles after a ramble along the cliff tops or a fun day on the beach! You will also find a shower over the bath, basin and loo.

Climb up the staircase to discover the dressing/additional seating area, perfect for some alone time, relaxing with your favourite book! This useful space gives access to the second bedroom, which in turn is equally spacious, with a king size bed taking centre stage. This light and airy bedroom has stunning views of the North Yorkshire Coastline and far-reaching views out to sea!

Making this the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening sundowner. Imagine waking up to wonderful views of this magnificent seascape!



Open the French doors at Ammonite Cottage and you are greeted by the delightful private raised terrace. This is a lovely spot with table and chairs for a lazy morning coffee and taking in the sea air. There is also a private garden accessed from the terrace. Leading down towards the coastline with ample space for children to play. The views from the terrace and garden and truly breathtaking and perfect for enjoying a sundowner after a day on the beach!

Sleeping 4 guests across 2 tastefully decorated bedrooms, complete with a log burner for those chillier evenings. An outdoor raised terrace leads to a spacious garden which meanders towards the sea, with garden furniture for you to relax and enjoy the sea air and envious views…. it will be hard to steal yourself away! Port Mulgrave is located very close to the quaint North Yorkshire village of Hinderwell and is also perfect for enjoying cliff top walks to both Whitby and Saltburn. Ammonite Cottage is perfect for families, welcoming children. Unfortunately, DOGS are not accepted. There is FREE parking for 2 vehicles.
