Welcome to our holiday home "Wendland-Hideaway".
Find relaxation, nature, and fresh air at the Wendland-Hideaway on the outskirts of Gartow, by the Gartower See. The proximity to nature is palpable.
Situated in a wooded environment, the holiday home is in a quiet location with beautiful trees.
It is built in the typical Danish wooden style and is equipped with 3 bedrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, a fitted kitchen, and space for a maximum of 4-6 people.
The large terrace faces west, perfect for enjoying sunsets and pleasant barbecue evenings. Information on Additional Costs and Fees: Bed linen and towels can be ordered for a fee from property management if needed. Electricity/Water/Heating are included. A parking space is available on the property. One dog (up to 10kg) or two small dogs can be booked. A deposit of €100 is due in advance and must be transferred with the rent. The house has bedrooms with one 180 x 200 cm bed and two 140 x 200 cm beds.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer combination, toaster, egg cooker, kettle, and other kitchen utensils such as a Sodastream. You will find a separate room for suitcases and wardrobes.
A small safe is installed there if needed.
The shower room is equipped with a toilet, a walk-in shower, infrared heating, and a sink. In the living room, in addition to TV, DVD, CD, and radio, you will find a wood-burning stove, a seating area with an armchair, and a breakfast table that extends to accommodate up to six people.
Free Wi-Fi is of course available.
The roof area is equipped with 4 Velux windows, 1 of which is remote-controlled, for light and fresh air. All rooms have new infrared heating for cooler days and can be darkened with light-proof pleated blinds.
Books, CDs, and reading material about the surrounding area are available for our guests. Outside, you will find the parking space directly on the property, making for short walks to the house and garden area.
At the rear of the house, there is a large terrace with garden furniture and loungers, and a gas grill.
A garden shed is available for secure storage of your own or the holiday home's bicycles.
Dogs are also welcome; please arrange with FEWO if your pet weighs more than 10kg and/or if you have multiple dogs.

The lake is suitable for many water sports or for cycling, jogging, and walking on the circular path.
A lap around the lake is approximately 6.5 km. For bird and animal enthusiasts, observation points and towers are available. Gastronomic areas, playgrounds, a skate park, and rentals for sailboats, canoes, and pedal boats can be found at the other end of the lake, directly in the village of Gartow.
For our guests at the "Hideaway," there are two smaller, secluded swimming lakes (one with very clear water, suitable for little "water rats"), about 4 km from the holiday home.
Information about these is available in the holiday home – our insider tip, so to speak. Gartow itself is a village characterized by rural tranquility and the warmth of the Wendland region.
You will find beautiful half-timbered houses, the impressive "Bernstorff Castle," and St. Georg Church.
Daily necessities are available, and there is also an organic shop.
Particularly noteworthy is the "Wendland Therme" about 500m away.
Here you can swim, use the sauna, and relax in the thermal baths even on cooler days.
A gym and many other family sports facilities complete the offering. Special opportunities exist for animal and bird enthusiasts almost all year round.
In the Lower Saxony Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve, many bird species, such as the lapwing, are native or passing through; for this, you will find several birdwatching stations.

Komplett eingerichtet, was im Haushalt si braucht. Betten Top. Lage sehr gut, ruhig , Einkaufsmöglichkeiten leicht erreichbar. Landschaftlich sehr reizvoll gelegen.
