About the Accommodation
The apartment is located in a beautiful historic village house from 1914, which means that some of the ceilings in the living room and bedroom are a little low (approx. 185 cm). The charming 2-room attic apartment, located on the 3rd floor of a picturesque village house from 1914, exudes a unique history. Without a lift, this house, which once belonged to the artist Franz Baumberger, offers a special living ambience. Baumberger, who particularly appreciated the colour of the "Veuve Clicquot" champagne label, had this exact colour mixed and had the entire house painted in this shade. The lovingly furnished flat comprises a bedroom, a living room and a kitchen. The sofa bed in the living room offers additional sleeping space for more than two people if required. The flat is fully equipped: a baby cot for the youngest guests, an oven, CD and DVD player, a fondue and raclette set for cozy dinners, internet connection and Wi-Fi for digital networking. Pets are welcome in the flat, making it an ideal home for pet owners. The kitchen is separate and equipped with all the necessary utensils including kitchen linen, a fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine. In addition to the combined living and sleeping area, the availability of a washing machine and tumble dryer also adds to the convenience. A car park is available for guests arriving by car. Designed as a non-smoking flat, it offers a clean and pleasant environment for all guests. An extra bed can also be provided if required, emphasising the flexibility and adaptability of the flat. Pets are very welcome in the house.
Information on the Surrounding Area
From here it is only a few metres to the Mattstock chairlift, which in summer is the perfect starting point for hikes in the beautiful hiking area around Amden. In winter, the chairlift offers direct access to the piste almost on the doorstep. The indoor swimming pool, restaurants and shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. Lake Walensee can be reached by bus or after a short 5-minute drive and offers wonderfully refreshing moments. Buses run every half hour in the direction of Weesen and Ziegelbrücke or every hour up to the Arvenbüel district. Please bear in mind that they are in the centre of the village, and you may be able to hear the village life.
