Situated right on the edge of the wood and just a few minutes’ walk from Malchow lido, this self-contained holiday flat, which accommodates up to 2 adults and 1 child, is situated on the ground floor of the owners’ house within a residential estate, on a fully fenced plot of approximately 1,100 square metres. Shops and restaurants are within easy reach, and the town centre is approximately 1.5 km away.
Completely and to a high standard renovated in 2021, this centrally heated, non-smoking flat – measuring approx. 36 square metres and fitted with insect screens on the windows – features a kitchen-diner (sofa bed for one person, flat-screen TV, dining table) with a fully equipped kitchenette (electric hob with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle), a bedroom (double bed), a large bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer), a hallway and an entrance hall.In addition, there are several seating areas in the garden – one of which is covered – sun loungers, a barbecue, a car park, bicycle storage, a high chair and free Wi-Fi. Furthermore, two Stevens trekking bikes and two stand-up paddle boards are available and are already included in the accommodation price. The wood-fired barrel sauna, newly built in 2026, can also be used at no extra charge. A mooring for a kayak or canoe can be provided on request. If required, a kayak is available for shared use by arrangement.
The total price includes final cleaning, water and energy consumption, as well as bed linen and towels. To be paid on site: visitor’s tax. Pets are not permitted in this property.
The small town of Malchow is a tourist gem in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District. It is also known as an ‘island town’, as its picturesque old town is surrounded by Lake Fleesen and Lake Malchow.The different parts of the town are connected by an earth embankment and a listed swing bridge, which opens several times a day to allow boats to pass. This area is also home to the passenger ferry jetties, a harbour, restaurants, cafés and shops. Other attractions include the monastery church and the town mill, as well as a large bathing beach, a summer toboggan run, a monkey forest and a riding centre just outside the town.Boat and bicycle hire available in the town itself, as well as wellness, sports and golf facilities at the nearby Land Fleesensee holiday resort, round off the range of tourist attractions.
