The sweet house with its cozily furnished holiday apartment of over 26m² for 2 people is located in the center of the small fishing village of Maasholm and tells its very special story.
Let yourself be enchanted by the small but comfortable holiday apartment, located on the ground floor of the house, and enjoy your relaxing holiday alone or as a couple.
From the entrance area with cloakroom, you enter the bright living room with an open, well-equipped kitchen, dining area, sofa, and TV. From here, you proceed to the bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe.
The modern bathroom with a walk-in shower is directly adjacent to the living area.
'Dat seute Huus' was built around 1847. Originally a fisherman's house, as evidenced by the fish shed in the yard where traps and nets were stored and repaired, it later served as a "Hökerei" from the beginning of the 20th century, as the small general stores in the villages of the region were called.
In the course of an extensive renovation, the original character of the house was carefully restored and supplemented in a scale-appropriate manner, and the house was energetically modernized, making it a gem of the village once again. Within walking distance of the house, you will find several restaurants, a café, a grocery store, and the bakery. A few steps further, you can always enjoy nature and tranquility – in the picturesque Schlei landscape or on the dreamlike Baltic Sea beaches, unspoiled by mass tourism. Water sports enthusiasts particularly appreciate Maasholm: there is a large marina and a popular surf school on site. In addition to walks and bike tours, for example through the Geltinger Birk, day trips to the surrounding area are worthwhile. Kappeln (approx. 10 minutes by car) offers a beautiful setting for a stroll.
