Five kilometres away is the border with Belgium and the High Fens nature reserve between the Eifel and the Ardennes, where you can go cycling and hiking.

Monschau is one of the most beautiful German towns full of monumental half-timbered houses. In the historic city centre, you will find old shops, cosy terraces and good restaurants. A great choice for a day out, but even better for a holiday. Especially for families with children, opportunities abound: hiking, cycling, mountain biking, motorcycling, miniature golf, tobogganing, swimming and countless other water sports are the order of the day here. And in winter, of course, skiing and cross-country skiing are among the options.
