This luxury group accommodation has a spacious living room with TV and a beautiful view of the water. There is also space dining area views of the water. The House has a fully equipped kitchen including that of many a dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer and filter coffee maker. On the ground floor there is another bedroom with four beds. Furthermore there are on the ground floor four showers + sinks and four toilets. On the second floor there are six bedrooms each with six sleeping places. Outside the home, you can relax on the terrace located at the water. Around the House there is enough place to practice some acitivities like badminton.
Particularities
• Student associations, youth groups (up to 25 years) and friend groups (up to 30 year) are not allowed.
• The minimum age of the main booker for this holiday home is 18 years.
• During the season, the adjacent field is used for tents and caravans.
• The facilities are closed from November untill March.
• The vacation park is car-free. It is only possible to unload your car at the accommodation upon arrival and departure. Then the car can be parked in the central parking lot. If you come with two cars, the second car can be parked in the parking lot outside the park.

General
Welcome to the breathtaking surroundings of National Park the Weerribben-Wieden. A beautiful nature reserve that has been declared the most beautiful nature reserve of the Netherlands several times. The staff at the reception will be happy to assist you and tell you about tips and trips in this beautiful area. You can also ask the staff to rent a boat or bicycle and you will receive the access code to the free Wi-Fi network.
Sports and games
Run, fly and rant? At De Kluft, you have all the space and opportunity to romp around with your newly made friends. So the children can play in the playground or in the recreation room when the weather is less. Fishing with a cross net or playing soccer on the sports field, insatiably active!
During the children's school vacations you will meet Otto, Elle and Izzi at the Kluft. Who love to play with the whole family. Activities such as a Musical, ghost tour, soccer, crafts, baking and dancing will be organized in abundance.
Food and drink
If you are on vacation, we can imagine that you do not always feel like cooking. Eat a tasty Platé or an extensive a la carte menu in the park's restaurant. In the evening you can come here for a nice drink while enjoying a snack and good company. Looking for something easy? Then the snack bar on the vacation park offers a solution.
Boating and canoe school
National Park the Weerribben is characterized by its beautiful nature, which looks pristine. But appearances are deceptive! Due to the extraction of peat, these beautiful landscapes were created, meter by meter.  All these ditches, swamp forests, floats, reed beds and nutrient-poor grasslands are a special sight, where you can enjoy beautiful cycling, walking or canoeing and whisper boating.
Vacation park De Kluft has a number of whisper boats and canoes lying around that can be rented. In addition, De Kluft has canoe school Herbie Bird. This canoe school teaches you the coast of open canoeing. Are you beginner or advanced, do you want to go alone or in a group? The choice is yours. This gives you a way to explore the area in a special way.
 

Surroundings
Ossenzijl is characterised by the landscape of the Weerribben: a large variety of water, reed lands, hay meadows and swamp forests. In this area, you can spot many interesting animal species such as otters. The surrounding area has many unique (water) villages. Some examples are Blokzijl, Giethoorn, Oldemarkt and Kalenberg. We highly recommend exploring the area by boat! Visit Museum Giethoorn 't Olde Maat Uus, De Orchideeën Hoeve or Klimbos Avontuurlijk Paasloo for a wonderful outing. Would you rather spend a day shopping in a bigger city? Then head to nearby Meppel or Heereveen, where you will also find plenty of restaurants, cafés and terraces.
