There is a very large difference in tides here. Seafood, mussels, crabs and oysters can be purchased at the nearby oyster farms Prat ar Coum and Beg ar Vill. In the evenings, the lively sailing harbor at Aber Wrach beckons with its nice restaurants and pubs. When the weather is cloudier, it's worth taking a trip to the lively port city of Brest, which has a lot to offer including Oceanopolis, one of the largest aquariums in Europe and its fantastic cable car.
