Accommodation description
This fine holiday home is located on the edge of the village of Zonnemaire, on the Zeeland island of Schouwen-Duiveland.
The house is close to a beach on the Grevelingen, where you can swim and sunbathe; ideal for children.
The Grevelingen is very popular with water sports enthusiasts, divers and anglers.
The holiday home is located in a small holiday park with 14 houses.
Around the house there is a garden with plenty of space for children to play. Located between Brouwershaven and Zierikzee, Zonnemaire lies in the corner of a dike and is a small agricultural and tourism village with about 750 inhabitants.
The village itself has a small beach on the Grevelingen, the 'Haventje van Bommenede'; a windmill and a café-restaurant "d'Ouwe Smisse". There is a lot to do and visit on the island.
Not to be missed are: the beach at the Westpunt; monument city Zierikzee; the forest of Westenschouwen and endless bicycle rides over countless dykes.

For those interested in history, visit the Watersnoodmuseum in Ouderkerk (Zonnemaire was located in a rare dry polder in 1953); the bunker complex de Punt near the Brouwersdam; Slot Moermond in Burgh or visit and climb the fat tower in Zierikzee.
Veere, Goes and Middelburg are also nice towns even on a day when the sun shines a little less.
You can enjoy the sea and the water on the Brouwersdam; in the marina at Bruinisse; on the Grevelingen with its various islands where you can moor a (rental) boat or on the dike at the Schelphoek.
Cyclists can enjoy dike routes along the south side of the island, through the dike waters or over the Zeeland Bridge and Oosterscheldedam.
Quiet undiscovered spots include: walking in the dunes, the lighthouse in Nieuw-Haamstede, the ring village of Dreischor, the fruit picking garden de Stelle in Ouderkerk and walking in the village of Schudddebeurs Charging an electric car at the accommodation is possible and the costs are according to consumption.

Dat het een compleet en net huis was.
Op een kleinschalig parkje, heel rustig, en goed onderhouden.
Huisje van alles voorzien. Bedden al opgemaakt, per persoon handdoek en badlaken. Keukenlinnen en zeer uitgebreide keukeninventaris zodat je een volle vaatwasser kan draaien.
Niet zoals in huisjes van...
Een hekje om de tuin was prettig geweest.

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und hat alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit dort verbracht. Gerne wieder!
