Oberrarbach has a strategic location within the Winterberg-Bad Fredeberg-Meschede triangle.

The environment is forest and hilly up to 850 meters, with many streams and lakes.

In the direct vicinity you will find five ski slopes, a five to 10 minutes trip by car, of which Bodefeld-Hunau is the longest with 1326 meters.

You can go (Nordic) walking straight from the village: there are five trails which start 10 meters from the farm.
