Staying near a castle in a wooded area is now possible; the original coach house, which originally housed the stables and carriage garage, has been completely converted into a beautiful multipurpose room and sleeping accommodation for 62 people. It is an ideal accommodation for large families and/or groups of friends who like to stay near a big city (Antwerp), but who also like to be in green surroundings. 

Group accommodation near Antwerp and still in the countryside 🏡

The accommodation is ideal for a weekend break with your family-sports-school or cultural group. On the ground floor is a large multipurpose room with seating for 100 people (seated) and 150 people (standing). There are a total of 62 beds divided into 6 bedrooms and 8 showers and 8 toilets in total. On the ground floor is the disabled room with adapted sanitary facilities. The accommodation also has a professional kitchen with the latest gadgets. Unfortunately, this kitchen cannot be rented, but is used to provide guests with delicious meals (on a half-board inclusive basis or full-board at an additional charge). The accommodation cannot be booked without half-board. The grounds are surrounded by a large private playground. Between the castle and the coach house, which extends in front of the castle, is a large playing field. There is also a private forest, where you can enjoy nature and where children can play in green surroundings. The forest can and may be used to play in, but with respect for nature.

The accommodation is the ideal base for numerous sporting and cultural excursions. For active guests, the Provincial Green Estate Rivierenhof is a great outing. There is plenty to do here, from a children's farm to various sports squares or just to enjoy a magical piece of nature. Near the Groendomein is also Park Groot Schijn; people gather here daily to play sports together, to discover the beautiful nature or just to relax. The centre of Antwerp is about 7 km away and so is the Cathedral of Our Lady. Antwerp's Episcopal Church displays a treasure trove of paintings, sculptures and other works of art. You will see different phases of history from neo-Gothic chapels to Baroque altarpieces. Within a 7 km radius, you will also find a number of other historical buildings, museums and cultural houses such as, the Diamond Museum, the Rubens House, Museum aan de Stroom and the City Theatre.
