The director's building of the former Schotte tannery was renovated in 2018 into a modern youth accommodation center. It is mainly aimed at youth and sports groups and is fully wheelchair accessible.

Next to the building you will find various recreational activities such as a restaurant, fitness, sports halls, high-altitude course, play forest... and a spacious parking lot. The river Dender is nearby. Within walking distance you will find the city of Aalst, the city park and two protected nature reserves.
