Pietra Ligure and the surrounding area offer many possibilities to do sports all year round and to make interesting excursions. Campeggio dei Fiori is located in an ideal position for mountain bike, street bike, trekking and climbing routes. For those who love cycling in the campsite there is a reserved area for handling and cleaning bicycles. You can also take guided bike tours.

Pietra ligure is an international tourist centre with a sandy beach and a mild climate all year round.
The town has ancient origins and suffered the invasions of the Longobards (641), the Franques and the Saracens. It was owned by the bishops of Albenga and desired by the Del Carretto family (who occupied it in the XIII century), Genova and the municipality of Albenga.
In 1385 the city became part of the Republic and municipality, but in 1419 the Del Carretto family of Finale still occupied it. The castle and the palace Leale- Franchetti (with a rich interior) are of medieval origin. In the parish church are preserved a table of Barbagelata (1496) and chairs of the XVI century.
Very interesting is also the shrine of Madonna del Soccorso, built between the 16th and 17th centuries. Starting from the historic centre, on the coast, you can organize wonderful walks and cultural excursions in the hinterland which always has an uncontaminated landscape.
Those who love relaxing and romantic stays can choose walks along the sea, with its gardens and palm trees.
For the most passionate athletes there is a wide range of opportunities: tennis fields, basketball field, a sports field, ice rink, a centre for sports fishing, petanque field, wind surfing and other sports. Very interesting are the fruit and the wines too, especially the Vermentino and Lumassina.
